FL4MUS laments MOUZ loss: “I think Mirage was ours”

We spoke to FL4MUS, fresh off of a fantasitc Major run with BetBoom into the familiar ranks of GamerLegion.

MOUZ defeated GamerLegion 2-1 in a grueling round of 16 match at the Esports World Cup, including a comeback in the final map from a 2-10 deficit.

We had the chance to speak with Timur ‘FL4MUS’ Marev right afterwards, who said that the greater fumble was the opening map of Mirage.

On Mirage, we had been leading the game, we lost one crucial round, we knew exactly what they we’re gonna do, but we didn’t win it. I think Mirage was ours.

He added that “they could not adapt” to MOUZ’s CT-side on Nuke due to being “inexperienced”, a half where Tier-1 rookie Adrian ‘xelex’ Vincze went nuclear with a 16-5 K-D.

Still, FL4MUS was pleased with his first LAN back in the GamerLegion jersey.

It was a hard, emotional game. We fought really well and happy with the game we showed.

Lessons from being a journeyman

In 2025, FL4MUS made a blockbuster move to Virtus.pro, but it did not work out as intended.

After years of playing on different teams for short periods, FL4MUS shared what he had learned.

I’ve become more calm inside the game. I’m doing my risky moves with more precision.

Having “proved to himself” he’s ready to “compete at the highest level again”, FL4MUS leaves behind experiences from previous teams.

I don’t know what happened between Virtus.pro and BetBoom, I wasn’t expecting anything.

For now, I already don’t care. I’m happy to be where I am right now.
