From July 15 to 20, 2025, the CS2 competitive calendar resumes with the $1M FISSURE Playground 1. Sixteen international teams will gather in Belgrade, Serbia, to compete for a $1,000,000 prize pool at a pivotal LAN event that marks the start of the post-player-break season.
The tournament will showcase a blend of top-tier contenders, fresh rosters, and promising talent in a format designed to test both consistency and endurance.
Format Overview
The tournament features a hybrid structure that combines group-stage survival with knockout-stage intensity:
- Group Stage: Four groups of four teams
- Structure: Double elimination within each group, all matches best-of-three
- Advancement: Top two teams from each group qualify for the playoffs
- Playoffs: Single elimination, best-of-three
- Grand Final: Best-of-five
