Following up on the news of NiKo making the move from FaZe to G2, YNk and the cooperation between him and the FaZe organization have come to an end.
“Today I’m announcing my decision to step down as coach of FaZe Clan. I feel that the best way to move forward is for the team and myself to part ways, allow the players and the organization to get a new coach and IGL who can work on taking the team forward”, the coach explained in his TwitLonger post.
The 28-year-old tactician has been coach of FaZe since January 2019 and has managed to win Blast Pro Series Miami and Copenhagen, as well as lifting the ELEAGUE Invitational trophy during his tenure.
“I still have love for the game and the coaching profession although I plan to take a break from coaching until the end of the year and see what 2021 brings.” YNk wrote in his statement.
Today we also part ways with our CS:GO coach, @YNk.
Thank you Janko, for the leadership, the guidance, and the trophies during your time coaching @FaZeClan. We wish you nothing but the best in the future! #FaZeUp pic.twitter.com/ttBJeKoBqu
