It was an 7-11 comeback on Ancient that allowed FaZe to win, getting s1mple to his first Major playoffs since 2022.

FaZe Clan have made it to the playoffs of the BLAST.tv Austin Major, with a top-fragging performance from s1mple.

They make it through the group stage 3-1, awaiting their opponent.

TheMongolZ will live to fight another day as they are in the 2-2 bracket, where Legacy and paiN Gaming already await to play tomorrow.

The first map was Ancient, picked by TheMongolZ, who started on T-side of the map. The won the half with a 4-round margin thanks to mzinho’s 13-4 scoreline to stifle FaZe.

TheMongolZ made the scoreboard 7-11, when FaZe kicked into gear to bring the whole map back.

It was EliGE to find the most opening kills on the map with 4, and s1mple’s stellar 14-kill T-side that sealed the first map for FaZe.

Rain and s1mple carried CT-side Anubis

TheMongolZ chose to start on the defensive side of Anubis, a choice that did not end up benefitting them.

It was rain to constantly stifle their aggression towards the A-site, and s1mple that was good for 16 kills at the half.

FaZe got 10 rounds on the CT-side going into their T-side.

Despite losing the pistol, it was a straightforward affair for FaZe once the weapons came out.
