FalleN after beating Spirit 13-7: “We had no preparation”

The IGL also spoke about his unique relationship with YEKINDAR on the broadcast.

The IGL also said that he is learning a lot from YEKINDAR micro-wise.

Improvised 9-3 Nuke T-side from FalleN and FURIA

“I thought we would be on Overpass,” said Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo candidly on IEM Krakow analyst desk. “I called in freezetime, going with the flow.”

FalleN said these words mere minutes after stunning Spirit 13-7 on Nuke – in a return to form from FURIA. Nuke was the decider and he said they did not expect that.

“Sometimes it can work [to improvise] and it can be better to play like that,” FalleN said. “And if you start losing you can always say it was because we didn’t prepare”

FalleN is “learning a lot” from YEKINDAR

FalleN also spoke at length about how him and Mareks ‘YEKINDAR’ Galinskis understand each other, after being asked about a crucial 2v5 that took place.

“Macro-wise we understand each other very, very well,” FalleN said. “Micro-wise, he’s much smarter than me – I’m learning a lot from him.”

He also spoke about how YEKINDAR impacts the team.

“He’s a player that you cannot use if you are not open to his ideas,” FalleN said. “YEKINDAR joining helped give FURIA it’s identity; we have a less ‘gambly’ kind of style now [thanks to YEKINDAR]”
