Falcons win nail-biter series over FURIA in karrigan’s stage debut

Falcons make the semi-finals of PGL Astana after clutching a win against FURIA, their lifelong nemesis.

Falcons have made the semi-finals of PGL Astana after clutching a win against FURIA, their lifelong nemesis.

On one hand, Falcons had m0NESY, posting a 40-bomb helping Falcons get to overtime in the must-win Nuke. On the other, karrigan went -21 in K/D, but was still the key difference-maker.

Once again, it was KSCERATO haunting Falcons time after time, winning multiple clutch rounds. He kept up the entire way with m0NESY, keeping up with the Russian superstar.

Nuke StatsK-DADRClutches
KSCERATO39-2898.01
m0NESY43-2794.21

Despite Falcons’ historic struggles closing out against FURIA, karrigan proved to be the difference. Falcons actually kept their composure, and closed out 22-20 with the help of an unbelievable m0NESY.

Another nail-biter on Dust2 decider

On Dust2, it was another fight, as FURIA hung on until the last moments.

Another overtime affair came to an end, with Falcons looking like the more composed squad by the end.

Everybody except karrigan broke 20 or more kills, with kyousuke reaching the top with 30.

Runway to the final

With this win, Falcons go on to face massive underdog, #40 in the world magic, in the semi-final.

The grand final would be against the winner of MOUZ/Spirit if they make it there.
