Falcons became the first team to qualify for the IEM Melbourne Grand Final after a dominant 2-0 victory over MOUZ in the semi-finals.
The win marked a major turnaround, as Falcons had lost their previous three encounters against MOUZ in recent months.

The arrival of Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov has been instrumental in the team’s resurgence, providing critical firepower throughout the series.

m0NESY Delivers Standout Performance

m0NESY entered the semi-final averaging a 1.44 rating in Falcons’ earlier map wins and continued his strong form against MOUZ.
He provided multiple opening kills on Dust2 and secured a crucial 1v2 clutch on Nuke to help Falcons close the series.

Full Team Effort Behind the Victory

Alongside m0NESY and Nikola “NiKo” Kovač, other Falcons members delivered key contributions:

  • René “TeSeS” Madsen topped the scoreboard on Dust2, earning the Player of the Map award.
  • Damjan “kyxsan” Stoilkovski made a significant impact with strong mid-round plays and leadership.

Falcons Advance to the Grand Final

Falcons now move on to the IEM Melbourne Grand Final, carrying strong momentum and seeking to claim the tournament title. Here, either Vitality or The MongolZ will face the Saudi-based Organization.
