A new Danish Counter-Strike team has emerged, bringing fresh faces under a familiar name.
Despite its new roster, the team will compete under the revived Tricked banner, headlined by former North and OG player Valdemar “valde” Vangså.
Joining him are Magnus “Nodios” Olsen, Jonas “Queenix” Dideriksen, Jason “salazar” Salazar, and Jamie “leakz” Bugge.
Famous owners, big ambitions
The project is backed by Legendary Gaming Group, a company that counts former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner among its owners, who’s known as a big Counter-Strike enthusiast.
This isn’t Bendtner’s first venture into Counter-Strike, as he previously co-owned Prosapia.
With this team, Bendtner is confident that Tricked will be able to compete against the elite.
– With Tricked’s relaunch, we’re bringing together top talent to write a new chapter in Danish esports history. I’ve been deeply involved in assembling this team, and I truly believe we have a lineup that can compete at the highest level. Fans should get ready—this is just the beginning, Bendtner says in a press release.
“Perfect combination”
At the helm of this project is valde, who will take on the roles of captain and in-game leader. The seasoned rifler joins after disappointing stints with TSM and ENCE, eager to revive his career.
The lineup features familiar synergy, as Nodios, salazar, and Queenix previously played together under ECSTATIC and Gaimin Gladiators. Meanwhile, 21-year-old leakz enters as the wildcard of the squad.
