ESL announces broadcast talent lineup for IEM Cologne Major 2026

ESL has officially unveiled the broadcast talent roster for the upcoming IEM Cologne Major 2026. The announcement confirms the personnel who will guide viewers through the highly anticipated Counter-Strike tournament in Germany. The lineup features a mix of veteran commentators, experienced stage hosts, and former professional players transitioning to the analyst desk.

The established voices of Counter-Strike

The stage and sideline hosting duties will be handled by a seasoned quartet. Freya Spiers, Tres “stunna” Saranthus, Eefje “sjokz” Depoortere, and OJ Borg return to manage the flow of the broadcast and conduct player interviews throughout the IEM Cologne Major.

For the live match commentary, ESL has secured four established casting duos. The matches will be called by Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill and Alex “Machine” Richardson, alongside Harry “JustHarry” Russell and Hugo Byron. Joining them on the microphone are the pairings of Jason “moses” O’Toole with Adam “Dinko” Hawthorne, and Conner “Scrawny” Girvan with Mohan “launders” Govindasamy. These duos represent the standard configuration for top-tier ESL events.

Analysts and the addition of dupreeh

The analyst desk features recognized pundits Janko “YNk” Paunovic, Jacob “Pimp” Winneche, Martin “STYKO” Styk, and Ashley “ash” Battye. Joining them is former professional player Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen.

While dupreeh has primarily worked as an analyst for BLAST broadcasts since retiring from competitive play, the Danish five-time Major winner makes his return to an ESL desk for this event. He previously provided analysis for ESL at IEM Krakow earlier this year. His inclusion adds direct professional experience to the IEM Cologne Major broadcast.

The talent lineup ensures that viewers will have experienced professionals breaking down the tactical aspects of the matches as 32 teams compete for the title in Cologne.
