Valve just dropped one of the most game-changing updates in Counter-Strike 2 so far. Players can now trade up to knives and gloves directly through the in-game Trade Up Contract system for the first time in the games history.

Gameplay
- Retakes have been added back as an official game mode
- Defusal Group Alpha and Defusal Group Delta maps on official matchmaking servers
- Fixed a molotov/smoke interaction, where multiple smokes were close to each other
Maps
- Golden, Palacio and Rooftop updated to the latest version from the Steam Workshop
- Updates and adjustments made to quad and balcony to make visibility better
Contracts
- Added the ability to trade up 5 covert items for the following:
- 5 StatTrak covert rarity items can be exchanged for a StatTrak Knife. Knife will be from the collection of one of the five items exchanged
- 5 regular covert rarity items can be exchanged for a regular knife or glove from one of the collections of the five items provided
Miscellaneous
- Performance optimizations when in the item inspect UI
- Fixed inventory item icons sometimes rendering in blurry state or not rendering
- Fixed several server-only sound events to not start multiple times
- Stability improvements
