Brollan after loss to FaZe: “I still believe in the boys”

FaZe and their Major magic kept them in the tournament for another round as they took down MOUZ 2-0. We caught MOUZ’s in-game leader Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin after the game for a talk about what went wrong.

The Swede did not try to soften the blow on himself or the team.

“We totally got destroyed today.”

MOUZ started rough only getting 3 rounds on their CT-side on Nuke, but made it a close game on the T-side only losing 13-11. Inferno on the other hand was a different story as FaZe destroyed MOUZ on their own pick 13-2.

Going in to the match MOUZ had a lot of pressure on their shoulders and that combined with the team not playing to their full capacity made the difference, according to Brollan:

“There was a lot of pressure in the quarterfinals and I think we did not show up today as a team and that cost us the game.”

Their lack of experience can be discussed as they’ve been a consistent playoff team all year. None the less, that is what Brollan points to, when asked what needs to change.

“We need experience”, elaborating Brollan added: “I would say a mix of everything. Details, having experience in stage games.”

While many teams would dream of being in a Major quarterfinal MOUZ have been there before. In Austin they fell to the eventual champions of Vitality in the semi-finals.

And while the first half of 2025 belonged to Vitality, for a while MOUZ looked to be the only team to really put up a fight.

“I think we played really good in the beginning of the season, but now we had really high expectation and we felt like it was the moment to go further.

“Maybe thinking of winning a Major comes into the head and then it just falls apart from there.”

So while MOUZ haven’t had the chance to lift a trophy in the latter half of 2025, Brollan still believes in the team and their continued development.

“I still believe in the boys.”
