The 23-year-old Brazilian, who came through MIBR’s academy and played three Majors for the organization, has ended his contract by mutual agreement after losing his place to tomaszin in August.
MIBR have announced the departure of Breno ‘brnz4n’ Poletto, ending a relationship that began in the organization’s academy in 2021.
In a statement on X, MIBR thanked the player “for honoring our colors and for facing all the challenges we had” (translated from Portuguese). brnz4n followed with his own post, saying the contract was ended early “at my request and in a friendly agreement with MIBR” and that he wants to “seek new horizons with another team”.
“I am immensely grateful to MIBR for the nearly five years that I represented this banner,” he wrote, before confirming that he is “free and open to proposals from other organizations” (translated from Portuguese).
Benched in August
brnz4n had been inactive since 25 August, when MIBR moved him to the bench and signed Argentine rifler Martín ‘tomaszin’ Corna three days later. His last event with the team was the Esports World Cup, where MIBR finished 17th-24th.
The numbers before the change were modest. Dust2 Brasil puts his 2026 rating at 0.99, with an average of 66 damage per round. Over the last three months, he played only 14 maps with a 0.93 rating.
