NRG have secured a place at this year’s IEM Dallas after a strong showing in the North American closed qualifier.
The Nick “nitr0” Cannella-led squad booked their ticket to the prestigious event by defeating Marsbone and BOSS before taking down Nouns in a decisive match early this morning (CET).
Danish rifler Alexander “br0” Bro was the standout performer throughout the qualifier, averaging an impressive 1.40 rating across three series.
The former Astralis player was particularly dominant in the final match against Nouns, racking up 58 kills and a 101.7 ADR over two maps.
Facing the best
NRG now join a stacked lineup at IEM Dallas, where many of the world’s top teams will be in attendance. While NAVI and Spirit have declined their invites, the rest of the Counter-Strike elite will be competing in Texas.

Astralis and HEROIC will battle for the final European qualifier spot next week.
