Boombl4 told us that the minimum expectation for them next season will be playoffs every event.

Shortly after his elimination from the Cologne Major in the quarter-finals, Kirill ‘Boombl4’ Mikhailov reflected on BetBoom’s run all the way from Stage 1 since the start of the month.

I’m a little bit sad to have lost in the playoffs. But still, it was on the big stage, with the young boys it’s really good experience for the future for them.

The Major-winning IGL had not made a playoffs since PGL Copenhagen in 2024, and was happy overall.

We’re playing with stand-ins and from first stage, so we’re a little bit tired. What I can add – it’s a great time here.

0-15 start on Anubis didn’t get to Boombl4

After a great first map performance, Boombl4 had a nightmare 0-15 start on the next, but it didn’t get to him nor his team.

It was funny. I’m not tilted about it, I was doing some funny words in the TeamSpeak. Sometimes my teammates killed me, Magnojez and FL4MUS.

After Boombl4 got his first kill in Round 16, the crowd hyped it like it was an ace clutch.

The crowd hyped it after my first kill, it was a funny moment.

“The next step is to not lose our form”

After a disappointing season, BetBoom managed to end it on a high note with a Major playoffs appearance after 23 maps here. This came after a dry spell with no playoffs appearances.

It’s hard to go to tier-one, but it’s even harder to stay in tier-one, so the next step is to not lose our form.

Boombl4 said that he will have high expectations next season.

At every tier-one tournament [moving forward], minimum is the playoffs.
