BLAST.tv Austin Major becomes most-watched CS tournament of all time

The Austin Major tops all CS events in total hours watched, breaking a four-year-old record.

The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 is now officially the most-watched Counter-Strike tournament ever, based on total hours watched.

According to Esports Charts, the ongoing Major has already surpassed 71.3 million hours watched. That breaks the previous record of 71.2 million, set by PGL Major Stockholm in 2021.

What makes the number even more impressive is that the Grand Final between Vitality and The MongolZ is still being played. With one of the biggest matches of the year underway, the final tally is expected to rise even further.

It should be noted that BLAST.tv Austin Major has had more matches and more airtime than other events, currently sitting at over 131 hours broadcast.
