HooXi admitted after losing the match that Aurora “struggles with pressure”.

“When we got up 10-7 [on the decider], I thought we had the game in our hands,” HooXi said in the post-match loser’s interview. “But credit to them for playing well under pressure”.

After the match, HooXi said that the main issue with Astralis in this match was the trading, which left them in clutches very often. With that said, they managed to win four clutches to Aurora’s two.

“We didn’t try to focus soulfly because we know that all of Aurora struggles under pressure,” HooXi said.

Aurora prevent disaster

After giving up the first map of Nuke after winning both pistols 11-13, Aurora had their map pick to go to next. Fortunately for them, Astralis would do most of the job for them.

On Astralis, players such as jabbi were getting visibly frustrated, with HooXi and ruggah trying to hold the team together.

Astralis would end up losing this map 2-13, and go into Inferno on a low.

Astralis lose after winning 4 clutches on Inferno

Astralis came back from a 1-5 deficit on Inferno from the CT-side. With a tight clutch defuse in a 1v1, they managed to get a 5-7 half from it.

Astralis got up to 10-7, when the momentum shifted. Aurora began taking more initiative and Astralis’s plans were interrupted.

In the post-plants, phzy and jabbi had windows to win the 1vXs. But lady luck had run out on Astralis, and Aurora closed out 13-10.
