The two major-winning pieces still on Astralis are on the market.

Astralis has announced the departure of Nicolai ‘device’ Reedtz and Emil ‘Magisk’ Reif at the end of the year.

Magisk joined Astralis on a temporary basis following his removal from Team Falcons. His contract with Astralis is due to expire on the 31st of December of 2025.

Device rejoined Astralis after taking a break from competition in 2021, and has been with them for three years in this second stint.

In the statement said it was “not easy” to be leaving the organization, but that he wanted something new in his career.

Astralis open to becoming an international team

Astralis also announced their intention to recruit from the international market. For the entire organization’s history, they have won and lost with only Danish players on their main roster. Now, they have announced that they will be considering players from other regions.

Jonas Gundersen, CEO of Astralis, added that their core will remain Danish, and that the team’s identity remains tied to Denmark.

Device reported to be joining 100Thieves

HLTV reported recently that device was set to rejoin former captain Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander in American organization 100Thieves.

Thus would line up with the player’s statement that emphasized how he wanted a fresh start once again.
