Apeks will be on the hunt for a new in-game leader after the team today announced, that they will be spending the summer break chasing two new players to their team.

– It is a pity that we ended up here, but together with the players we have decided that changes are necessary. We simply ended up having the wrong composition of players, Head of Esports, Anders Kjær explains in the press release.
Asger “AcilioN” Larsen was the longest-standing member of the current roster, while Hugo “Chawzyyy” Günther joined the team at the start of the year. Apeks came close at the start of the year to winning Pinnacle Winter Series but lost out in the Grand Final to K23. The team won Tipsport Bratislava Cup 2022 in April but has failed to qualify for several of the bigger tournaments on the circuit including the PGL Major in Antwerp.
