With Anubis and Ancient released in CS2, we are getting closer to the release of the full game. Now only Inferno is missing from the active competitive map pool.
Valve announced the new update last night.
Ancient is only added to deathmatch and casual modes, while Anubis will be able to be played in competitive modes as well. The two maps have visually been improved in accordance with Valve’s “Touchstone” treatment, unlike Nuke and Overpass which were updated and overhauled respectively.
Overpass and Vertigo have been removed from the beta.
