3DMAX end NIP’s major run

The Frenchmen have made it to the top 16 after a dicey Stage 2.

The Frenchmen have made it to the top 16 after a dicey Stage 2.

Despite a 2-0 start and stellar performances by xKacpersky, NIP progressively cooled off until being crushed by 3DMAX.

3DMAX came in as one of the favorites for this stage, and got to qualify, despite hiccups throughout. A best-of-three loss to B8 in the 2-1 match put them against NIP, who lost close 0-2 series to FaZe and PARIVISION.

NIP could not recover mentally from those losses and lost their own map pick 3-13 to 3DMAX.

3DMAX faltered on their own pick of Train, but ran away with it completely once reaching the defensive side. NIP could not do what Passion UA did earlier today: win a T side of Train.

3DMAX will play paiN gaming in the opening best-of-one match of Stage 3. These matchups are crucial due to how they impact the course of the Major, by altering seeding and future matchups.
