Apex Legends has released a new stability patch that fixes a wide range of issues introduced earlier in the season, and buried within the update notes is confirmation that a world’s edge map update is coming as early as next season. While the details of the redesign are not yet known, players can expect a meaningful refresh once the new season begins.
All bug fixes in the latest update

Respawn has pushed a stability update addressing some of the most disruptive problems since the season launched. According to the developers, the following issues have now been resolved:
• Several client crashes introduced this season
• Restore Defaults not returning Mantle Boost settings to the correct value
• Sparrow’s Ultimate ability moving on its own
• Trident audio inconsistencies
• Ranked Points table showing incorrect values in Ranked Leagues
• XP Boost and Kill Quip images getting stuck on the battle pass screen
Respawn also confirmed that Match ID is now permanently displayed on the bottom left for every player. This will help speed up investigations when reporting cheating, performance issues, or unusual gameplay scenarios.
R-99 reload bug fully fixed
One of the most talked-about bugs this season has finally been patched. The Bird of Prey R-99 skin had an unintended reload animation that allowed players to reload faster than they should. This interaction has now been fixed, restoring the weapon’s intended timing across all skins.
Lifeline insta heal bug
A new bug involving Lifeline has been identified, where her Ultimate allows her to instantly heal under certain conditions. This issue has been acknowledged and is expected to be addressed in a future stability update.
World’s edge update coming next season
Respawn has confirmed that world’s edge will receive a new map update next season. There are no leak-based details yet regarding what will be changed, but the update is expected to be significant. As soon as we receive credible information, we will provide a full breakdown of every redesign, rotation tweak, and POI rework.
