The second Perfect World Shanghai Major will take place between November and December 2027.
Chinese tournament organizers officially announced the Winter 2027 CS2 Major in Shanghai, China through X.
The CS2 Major is the only Valve-run tournament in the calendar, hosting 32 teams from the European, American and Asian regions. This will be the second time that Shanghai has hosted a Counter-Strike Major, the last occasion being in Winter of 2024.
The 32 qualifying teams will be determined through the Valve Regional Standings (VRS) ahead of the event.
