NAVI eliminated in shock defeat

Legacy produced an upset in the Round of 16, eliminating Natus Vincere with a 2-0 sweep. The Brazilian roster took command early on both Inferno and Ancient, establishing identical 10-2 leads at the break to secure the series.

Legacy overpower NAVI on Inferno

The match opened on Inferno, where Legacy set the pace on their T-side from the start. Constant offensive pressure allowed the team to build a commanding 10-2 lead by halftime. NAVI attempted to mount a comeback on their own offensive half behind Ihor ‘w0nderful’ Zhdanov, who led his side with 24 kills and a 1.61 rating. The early deficit proved too steep to overcome, and Legacy closed out the map 13-9. Santino ‘try’ Rigal paced the Brazilian squad with 21 kills and a 1.50 rating, supported by Eduardo ‘dumau’ Wolkmer with a 1.32 rating.

Dominant Ancient showing closes the series

Ancient followed a similar pattern, with Legacy mounting a 6-0 run on the defense before NAVI managed to get on the board. Legacy maintained their grip on the half to enter the switch ahead 10-2 for the second consecutive map.

NAVI failed to find traction in the second half as Legacy converted three quick rounds to finish the map 13-2 and seal the 2-0 match victory. Vinicius ‘n1ssim’ Pereira put up a dominant showing on Ancient, recording 23 kills, 151.9 ADR, 100% KAST, and a 2.91 rating.

Quarter-final spot secured for Legacy

The defeat eliminates NAVI from the tournament, while Legacy advance to the quarter-finals on the back of their strong form.
