Jimpphat lands on Aurora

The Finnish player, known for his excellent level on MOUZ in 2024, has joined the Turkish trio.

Aurora have taken their second-to-last step towards becoming an international team. After removing two of their Turkish role players, they have signed Jimi ‘Jimpphat’ Salo to build around their trio of Turkish stars.

Jimpphat broke onto the scene in 2023, being promoted from MOUZ NXT to the main team. Shortly after his promotion, he helped bring MOUZ a trophy at ESL Pro League Season 18, maintaining an impressive 1.17 rating as the anchor of the team.

Since 2023, Jimpphat has been a staple on MOUZ, until this year, when they removed him after a poor run of form in 2025 and a trophy drought.

Joining a star-studded team with loads of question-marks

Aurora’s main deficiencies have never been in firepower, having players like Ismailcan ‘XANTARES’ Dörtkardeş and Ali Haydar ‘Wicadia’ Yalçın in their ranks. A change in leadership might be the boost they need to reach the next level, and finally claim a big trophy.

However, Aurora’s roster has been known to have a preference for playing in Turkish language. With this new international line-up, their player will be switching to communicating in English.

Luckily for them, they have proven coach Ashley ‘ash’ Battye to guide them through it.

As of the time of writing, Aurora has not announced the signing of an in-game leader yet. Rumored to be Damjan ‘kyxsan’ Stoilkovski, him and ash will have plenty of work to do on this new team, but also a lot of tools to work with.
