Video: This is what Astralis hoped to get from Lucky!

If you take a closer look into why it never ended up working as good for the Astralis team. Playing in “Big events” was probably the reason behind Lucky´s poor performance. At the time after covid, Lucky played some big events doing his time as Astralis, which was where the young AWPer didn’t manage to step up his game. Doing these big events, the Dane was averaging 0.91 Rating / 0.59 kills per round / 59.9 ADR. Astralis hoped to get a young and fresh AWPer who wanted to take initiative, but back then Lucky still had some stage fear and nervousness.

Lucky: It’s very nice to be back in a place where you know you feel at home

Since Philip “Lucky” Ewald joined his old team Tricked back in July 2022, the young AWPer has produced some good stats over the past 3 months. Lucky is currently averaging 1.14 Rating /0.73 Rating / 74.7 ADR. The Dane was after all glad, to be back at Tricked, where he feels like he belongs.
