Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo and FURIA are heading to the Grand Final of the IEM Cologne Major 2026. Following their semi-final victory, the in-game leader directed the spotlight toward his teammate Yuri “yuurih” Santos, emphasizing his individual performance on the server to help secure the series.
A masterclass performance on Nuke
FURIA secured their place in the tournament’s final stage by maintaining control through difficult economic situations. According to FalleN, yuurih was a central factor in shifting the momentum in their favor during crucial rounds. The Brazilian veteran highlighted specific moments from the match where yuurih managed to break open the defense.
“I was telling him after the first half ended on Nuke, masterclass. So many double kills I saw from him. So many difficult moments, even entering on ramp, like he played super good. I’m very proud of him,” FalleN stated.
Growing confidence on the big stage
The semi-final performance in Cologne adds to a strong tournament run for yuurih. FalleN explained that the rifler is currently thriving due to the environment and support system within the active roster.
“Yuri stepped up again here in Cologne. He is playing very good, is a natural, and I think he feels the trust of his teammates and he is playing better and better every day,” FalleN explained.
FURIA will now prepare for the grand final in the Lanxess Arena, where they will face either Team Falcons or Team Spirit for the Major trophy.
