It was all down to the decider on Mirage after both teams won their own map pick. Whalers dominated the first half with a 10-5 scoreline but didn’t manage to close it out as Rugratz found their footing and made a comeback in the second half to wrap up the series 2-1 with a 16-12 map win.
Justin “FaNg” Coakley topped the scoreboard with a 1.25 rating, and a K-D ratio of 70-52.
Rugratz advances to the next stage of the event and will face off Chaos in the Group A decider match today at 22:00 am (CEST), where the winner advances to the semi-finals.
