FURIA outlast MOUZ to go 2-0 in Stage 3

FURIA and MOUZ entered their IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 3 matchup with 1-0 records following their respective victories in the previous round. In a series that required all three maps, FURIA secured the win to advance their standing to 2-0 in the bracket.

Dominant defense from FURIA on Nuke

The series commenced on Nuke, which was chosen by MOUZ. FURIA established an early advantage on their CT side by winning the first four rounds. MOUZ eventually found the board, but FURIA maintained firm control to secure an 8-4 lead by halftime. The second half saw FURIA dictate the pace entirely, shutting down their opponents to claim the map pick with a decisive 13-5 scoreline.

MOUZ answer back on Inferno

The momentum shifted entirely on Inferno. MOUZ replicated their strong form from the first day of Stage 3 by locking down their CT side. They built a massive 10-2 lead by the end of the first half, leaving FURIA with too large a deficit to overcome. MOUZ closed out the map 13-5. Hungarian sniper Ádám ‘torzsi’ Torzsás anchored the performance, finishing the map with a 21-8 kill-death ratio.

Overpass decider ends the win streak for MOUZ

The series concluded on Overpass. MOUZ entered the map carrying a perfect five-win record on Overpass over the past three months. The match dynamic shifted once again, with FURIA taking early control while MOUZ struggled significantly on their offensive T side.

Danil “molodoy” Golubenko and Mareks ‘YEKINDAR’ Gaļinskis presented constant problems for MOUZ, with both FURIA players recording over 100 average damage per round during the first half. Transitioning to their T side, FURIA required only four rounds to close out the series. Despite some initial resistance from the defense, FURIA secured the necessary rounds to win the map 13-7 and take the match victory.

FURIA is now only one win away from the playoffs at the Lanxess Arena.
