What is the CS2 Inventory Value Checker?

The CS2 Inventory Value Checker is a free tool that totals the Steam Market value of any public Counter-Strike 2 inventory. Paste a Steam profile and get an instant estimate of what the skins, knives, gloves, stickers and cases are worth, priced from the live market, with no login and nothing changed on the account.

How we value a CS2 inventory

Each item is valued at its lowest current listing on the Steam Community Market, the figure closest to what you could realistically sell it for today. We add that up across every priced, marketable item to produce the inventory total. Prices move with the live market, so a value can shift from day to day. Items with no Steam Market listing, such as certain medals and gifts, are shown but left out of the total.

Why is my inventory private?

Steam sets every inventory to private by default, so a brand-new check often comes back empty. To make yours public:

  1. Open your Steam privacy settings (you may need to sign in).
  2. Under My Profile, set Inventory to Public.
  3. If you also want to value your cases, make sure Always keep my total Steam Community Market history private stays unchecked.
  4. Wait a minute for Steam to apply it, then run the check again.

How do I check a CS2 inventory value?

Paste a Steam profile into the box above. You can use a full profile URL (steamcommunity.com/id/yourname or /profiles/7656...), your custom Steam name, or a 17-digit SteamID64. We fetch the public CS2 inventory and add up every item at its current Steam Market price.

Why does it say my inventory is private?

Steam inventories are private by default. To make yours public, open your Steam privacy settings at https://steamcommunity.com/my/edit/settings and set Inventory to Public. Give Steam a minute to apply the change and check again.

Is this safe? Do I need to log in?

No login is ever required. We only read public inventory data from Steam, exactly what anyone can see on a public profile. We never ask for your password and never touch your account.

How are the prices calculated?

Each item is valued at its lowest current Steam Community Market listing, which is the closest figure to what you could sell it for right now. The total is the sum across every priced, marketable item in the inventory.

Why are some items not priced?

Some items are not marketable (certain medals, gifts and promo items have no Steam Market listing), and very rare items can take a moment to price as we look them up. The coverage figure shows how much of the inventory is currently priced.

Is the CS2 inventory value checker free?

Yes. The CS2 Inventory Value Checker is completely free with no usage limit. There is no signup, no payment and no Steam login, you just paste a profile and get the value.

Can I check another player's CS2 inventory value?

Yes, as long as that person's Steam inventory is set to public. Paste their profile URL, custom Steam name or SteamID64 and the tool values their CS2 items the same way it values yours.

How accurate is the inventory value?

Each item uses the lowest live Steam Community Market listing, so the total reflects what the market is actually charging right now. Prices change constantly, so the figure is a current estimate rather than a fixed appraisal.
