Legacy pick up shock win at CAC over Falcons

Despite playing against a weakened field, Falcons were shut down by a Legacy powered by latto.

Despite playing against a weakened field, Falcons were shut down by a Legacy powered by latto.

With players like NiKo, m0NESY and kyousuke on the server, it was latto to shine the most with 83 kills. In fact, he had almost double of NiKo’s kill count (42), in another disappointing final from him.

kyousuke carried Falcons

This grand final series kicked off on Nuke, with Falcons closing out a 6-6 half, with kyousuke and m0NESY leading the server. This was a shift away from their usual playoff underperformances.

Legacy still prevailed over Falcons in the grand final in 3-1 fashion of the CS Asia Championships (CAC), despite the latter coming in as the favorites after a finals run at PGL Astana.

latto wins his second CAC MVP

Legacy has won their second consecutive CAC trophy, with latto being their star player for the second time in a row.

Latto had 83 kills and four clutch wins, more than any of the Falcons stars. The young kyousuke put up the biggest fight, having the most multikills on the server with 23.

This marks Falcons’ seventh grand final loss in a row (m0NESY’s eighth).
