NiKo after IEM Rio capitulation: “[Spirit] were a completely different team”

The superstar also conceded that changes were on the horizon for Falcons.

The superstar also conceded that changes were on the horizon for Falcons.

After losing another playoff match in 2026, their third consecutive keeping them winless, NiKo praised Spirit’s performance.

Spirit were a completely different team than when we played them in the group stage, […] way more aggressive and unpredictable.

The statistics check out, as Spirit went +7 in opening duels overall against Falcons.

It seems like S0tF1k (Spirit’s substitute coach) has been helping them, it’s impressive to see the improvement they’ve done.

“The future looks different for Falcons”

NiKo was not shy about Falcons’ stage underperformances, but did not place responsibility.

I wanted to believe that the stage performances were not a problem, but clearly something isn’t clicking in these matches.

Amidst the rumor that karrigan will be joining after the tournament to replace kyxsan, NiKo admitted there will be some change.

The future is not uncertain, but it looks different now.
