Apex Season 29 leaks: Ash Prestige and Alternator Mythic

We are already hearing the first whispers about what is coming in season 29, and if the leaks hold true, collectors are going to have a very busy first half of the year. While we are still currently navigating the fallout of the recent mid-season updates, the datamining community has been working overtime to uncover the mythic schedule. From a highly anticipated prestige skin for Ash to a brand new universal heirloom collab, the roadmap is looking packed.

Leaked mythic items and reactive skins

The schedule for season 29 seems to focus heavily on classic weapons and fan favorite legends. The return of a universal heirloom collab is particularly interesting, following in the footsteps of the recent whip. We are still waiting on the specific details of which franchise or theme this collab will involve, but it is expected to drop right at the start of the season.

The Ash prestige launch and buff speculation

The biggest news for many is the arrival of the Ash Prestige skin in split two. Historically, Respawn has a habit of buffing legends right as their mythic items release to ensure they are actually viable in the meta. We saw this recently with Fuse and Horizon, and Ash is a prime candidate for this treatment. Her pick rate has stayed relatively low ever since the major nerfs on September 10, 2025.

Those 2025 nerfs essentially stripped away her dominance by significantly slowing down her dash speed and altering her ultimate mobility. While she received a rework in late 2025, many feel it didn’t quite capture the power she once had. We wouldn’t be surprised if the devs decide to revert some of those older speed nerfs to make her feel dangerous again just in time for her big skin debut. It is pure speculation for now, but it is a pattern we have seen time and time again.

Loba buffs hit a delay

For the Loba mains out there, there is a bit of a wait ahead. While there were buffs planned for the current season 28 split 2 window, those have reportedly been pushed back. It is unclear if these will be integrated into the start of season 29 or if they need more time in the workshop. Given how much the movement meta is shifting right now, Respawn is likely being cautious about how they tune her bracelet and black market utility.
