The Outlands are preparing for a major power surge with the upcoming Aftershock Event. This event is scheduled to run from March 31 through April 21, bringing a massive wave of new content and gameplay shifts. Players can expect a mix of high-voltage cosmetics and significant updates to the tactical landscape.
Fuse mythic skin: Apex Inferno
The Apex Inferno is the first Prestige skin for Fuse, arriving as the ultimate reward during the Aftershock event.
This is a Mythic tier cosmetic, the skin features three distinct tiers that evolve as you deal damage while playing as Fuse. Tier 3 unlocks the exclusive finisher “Light it up” and a themed dive trail.
Wildcard power surge and gameplay updates
The Wildcard system is receiving a substantial boost with the addition of the Vortex Shield and nine brand new Wild Cards. These changes are designed to introduce new layers of strategy to every match. In addition to these systemic shifts, three veteran legends are receiving significant updates:
- Gibraltar
- Wraith
- Wattson
These updates aim to refresh their capabilities in the current meta. To support these legend changes, a new Elite Hemlok is making its debut, providing a powerful new option for mid-range engagements.
Milestone collection and legendary skins
The Aftershock Milestone Collection features a variety of premium cosmetics available from March 31 until May 5. This collection includes six high-tier legendary skins for popular legends. Each of these skins is available for 1800 Apex Coins or 2400 Crafting Metals:
- Space Avenger Wattson skin
- Robot Overlord Pathfinder skin
- Red Dead Ronin Ash skin
- Blind Ambition Horizon skin
- Code Breaker Crypto skin
- Unbreachable Gibraltar skin
The weapon pool is also getting an aesthetic upgrade. New weapon skins include the EVA-8 Hard Core, the Havoc Technoforged, and the CAR Static Discharge.

Just like every milestone collection event, this one also features a reward shop, the currency is called cells and comes from doing specific challenges, to be revealed later!
