Who is calling the shots on Cloud9?
A question that may be a bit tough to answer. First it was the newly-arrived NAVI star Denis “electroNic” Sharipov, then it was the experienced Kazakh Abay “HObbit” Khassenov, who suddenly took on the responsibility.
Then Cloud9 signed the former NAVI in-game leader Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhaylov, but at the same time they declined to comment on who will be leading the roster, when approached by HLTV.
However, today in an interview with Pley.gg, electroNic confirms that it is the newest addition, boombl4, who is their new in-game leader. Something he’s clearly pleased with.
– Personally, I like it. Because now it’s much easier for me to understand what he’s going to say in the game. I like boombl4 both as a person and a player. He has that charisma and mood in the team making everyone want to work as much as they can.
