It was not written in stone at the start of the year, that Team Vitality would end 2020 as the best and most consistent top team in the world.
After the departure of ALEX, the Frenchmen needed a new in-game leader. Dan “apEX” Madesclaire stepped up, and has to the surprise of many, including some of his teammates, delivered on a very high level.
apEX was rated as the second-best Vitality player in the Grand Final against Astralis despite being the IGL. A performance that led his teammate Richard “shox” Papillion to praise the in-game leader after the match.
