FaZe picked up a close win against Passion UA, as TYLOO dominated PARIVISION.
Stage 2 rages on, and FaZe have seemingly recovered from their poor Stage 1 performance. They picked up a close win against Passion UA on Dust2, a map full of clutches and tight situations.
Despite winning, frozen is still not satisfied, as FaZe Clan also got a 1-0 start in Stage 1, before being almost eliminated twice. He said that the 1v3s from nicx and hallzerk “could have spiralled”, and that he was glad that FaZe closed it out.
The early stages of Dust2 were controlled by FaZe from 3-3 onwards, as karrigan made timely calls. They were also fortunate to win two 1v1 clutches from broky and jcobbb.
nicx had an incredible 1v3 to bring it back, capping off an ace. Passion at least got to 5 rounds, keeping it close.
In the second half, Passion fought valiantly but never took control of the lead. FaZe managed retake after retake against Passion’s players.
A hallzerk 1v3 could have turned the tides as it broke FaZe’s economy, but at 11-10, FaZe came out with two clean round wins to secure it.
broky finally had a good performance, top-fragging for his team. Grim and nicx leave as the stars of Passion UA in their defeat.
TYLOO delete PARIVISION on Mirage
Any PARIVISION momentum from Stage 1 was killed here, as JamYoung brought his best on Mirage.
An opening 8-4 half on TYLOO’s defensive side was already impressive, until JamYoung got 3 P250 headshots to turn the second pistol in TYLOO’s favor.
PARIVISION never got rolling as TYLOO’s firepower blew past them into the 1-0 pool. One highlight for the Russian squad was AW, PARIVISION’s weak link in Stage 1, who top-fragged despite being blown out.
