Only a tiny amount earned a Diamond coin in Austin Major Pick’ems

The BLAST.tv Austin Major was chaotic, unpredictable, and full of upsets.

That made Valve’s Pick’em Challenge a complete nightmare for most players attempting the popular prediction game.

Now, data from Leetify confirms just how brutal it was.

According to their analysis, only 0.01% of players ended up with the highly sought-after Diamond coin, which is an extremely low amount based on the participants.

Leetify gathered the data by scraping over 27,000 public Steam inventories, giving a strong representation of how players fared with their Pick’em predictions for the tournament.

The popular Counter-Strike and Valorant observer, David “prius” Kuntz, was one of the few who earned a diamond coin for his predictions, he revealed on X this week.

What is the Pick’em challenge?

For those unfamiliar, the Pick’em Challenge is a prediction game tied to CS Majors where fans guess which teams will advance (or be eliminated) through each stage of the tournament.

Correct predictions earn points, with thresholds set for Bronze, Silver, Gold, and the rarest of them all — Diamond. Completing the full challenge and securing Diamond requires near-flawless predictions, making it especially difficult in Majors filled with upsets and surprise runs like Austin.
