FaZe, Virtus.pro take a step towards the top 16

Legacy also continued their miracle run and paiN take down FURIA.

Legacy also continued their miracle run and paiN take down local rivals.

NQZ and KSCERATO clash in Brazilian battle

KSCERATO and NQZ both shined, trying to take their teams to the 2-0 pool.

The Brazilian AWPer took the game into his own hands first to steal it from FURIA.

FURIA had a great start to the game, taking a 7-4 lead. NQZ had a blistering start to the second half, acing FURIA and winning a 1v1 to clinch the round. paiN got into their groove on the T-side, and after some precise shooting and calls, looked to close out the Brazilian derby. Suddenly, KSCERATO found form and secured a 4k spraydown at mid doors, shifting the tide of the game.

It came down to an 11-11 round, where paiN won it with a force buy with only two rifles.

A close game that paiN claimed at the very end to make it to the 2-0 pool.

Virtus.pro manhandles B8 on Inferno

Virtus.pro manage to enter the 2-0 pool without much struggle by dispatching of B8.

It’s the second win for VP on Inferno at this stage, with repeated performances from fame and electroNic.

B8 didn’t put up much of a fight, only taking 3 rounds in their T-half of Inferno, and capitulating on their CT-side.

Legacy runs over 3DMAX

Legacy continues their positive momentum by defeating 3DMAX.

The game looked concerning for 3DMAX at the start, as Legacy took a 7-2 lead to begin Inferno.

They abused the B-site with aggressive utility and calls. Eventually, Maka and his team found the solution and secured a 7-5 CT half, preventing a latto 1v3 in the process.

The firepower didn’t stop for Legacy, as they took the pistol with 4 kills with the Dual Elites for dumau. They carried forward the momentum to close the map in dominant fashion.

The duo of dumau and latto stood out, having 1.40+ ratings each and 35 kills between both.

FaZe takes care of TyLoo

FaZe started on the stronger T-side of Anubis, but had an average half of 7-5, with TyLoo staying in the game.

In the second half, rain stole the show in the pistol with a crisp tap, and FaZe took command of the game.

Despite some opening kills from TyLoo, FaZe secured themselves a spot in the 2-0 group with ease.
