Brazil has been a powerhouse in Counter-Strike for many years, producing some of the game’s most iconic players and teams. From legendary Major-winning rosters to rising stars, the country has had no shortage of world-class talent.
In a recent interview with BLAST, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo shared his all-time Brazilian dream team, selecting five players he believes represent the best of Brazilian Counter-Strike at their peak.
FalleN’s dream lineup
Unsurprisingly, Marcelo “coldzera” David was his first pick, calling him “the best player Brazil has ever seen.” He then chose Fernando “fer” Alvarenga, highlighting his impact on the dominant 2016-2017 SK/Luminosity lineups.
For the AWP role, FalleN debated between himself and Raphael “cogu” Camargo, praising cogu’s legendary run in CS 1.6. His final two picks were Lincoln “fnx” Lau, known for his clutch ability and Major-winning pedigree, and Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato, a newer star who has been consistently dominant in recent years.

FalleN’s thoughts behind his picks
Here are FalleN’s reasonings he gave to BLAST:
“For sure, coldzera is number one. He’s the best player Brazil has ever seen.
The second one, for sure, is fer. fer was very instrumental on those lineups in 16/17 as well.
As an AWPer, you could go with either me or cogu. I think cogu was insane in 1.6, he was at the top level in the world.
For two more, it’s very difficult to skip fnx. He played his whole career at a very high level on more than one game, so you’ve got to go with him.
For the fifth, it has to be one of the newer guys, so it has to be KSCERATO. He’s been playing very well for years, been very strong individually.”
