Maybe the absence of their head coach Remy “XTQZZZ” Quoniam was a significant factor for G2’s lacklustre performance, in a Grand Final which featured tons of close and hectic rounds.
The expert, analyst and former FaZe coach, Janko “YNk” Paunović touched on the matter right after the conclusion of today’s matchup.
– Considering how this Grand Final went – I know it may sound funny – but G2 were missing XTQZZZ more than FaZe were missing rain. Because of the game being so close and having these crunch time moments, I think he could have made a difference for G2 to calm the team down and come up with a call when they were in the rough, YNk said to the desk.
