Vitality are the Fall Final champions after taking down the Danes from Astralis in the Grand Final on Vertigo (16-4) and the last map of the series Inferno (16-5).

Vertigo: 16-4 – misutaaa: 2.12 rating – 127.0 ADR – 26-7 score
Dust2: 14-16 – apEX: 1.39 rating – 99.9 ADR – 25-21 score
Inferno: 16-5 – ZywOo: 1.59 rating – 104.2 ADR – 23-10 score
Even though Astralis fought their way through the lower bracket like monsters and went 8-0 across a four-series run, they didn’t manage to go back to back in events because of Vitality’s stellar performance.
The series started on Vertigo where the French-side took complete control of the pace and finished off the first half with a lead by 12-3. Vitality didn’t give Astralis a single chance to comeback in the game or pick momentum, as they quickly closed out the score 16-4.
The second map of the series was a close affair and the Danes came out much better looking than the first map, powering through to an 11-4 lead in the first half. The French-side managed to build up a strong CT-side defense and turned the scoreboard with a 14-13 lead in their favor, but the Danes came out on top as they kept composure in the last rounds and won a very close round, in the end, to deny the game going into overtime.
On the last map of the series, Vitality proved that they are not to be played with, as they completely ripped Astralis apart and took a 12-3 lead before halftime to quickly finish the game 16-5 right after, wrapping up the series 2-1.
Dan “apex” Madesclaire finished the finals as MVP and played amazingly throughout an entertaining series, finishing with a rating of 1.33 and a 57-43 score. His teammate Kévin “misutaaa” Rabier played the first and final map of the series and dominated Astralis out of the server, which resulted in an impressive 41-19 score and 1.64 rating.

Vitality leaves the tournament with 1st place, $225.000, and will look forward to competing in the Global Finals in January where Astralis also will participate, but they leave this tournament with $85.000
