It was a one-sided affair when Vitality took upon Grayhound in their opening match at ESL Pro League S17.
Starting the series off on Inferno, Vitality came out pressing the speeder. The mixed European roster secured themselves a 12-3 scoreline going into halftime after leading the early stages of the game 11-0. With ZywOo playing lights out, Grayhound stood no chance against the clear favorites from Vitality. Switching sides, Grayhound couldn’t get the momentum they needed to pull off an insane comeback on the CT side. Instead, Vitality closed out the game 16-4. The performance from ZywOo is currently his second-highest rating on LAN ever. What an impressive performance from the world’s second-best.
Nothing could stop @zywoo as he raked up 30 kills, 90.0% KAST, 1.50 KPR, and an outstanding 2.84 Impact Rating#ESLProLeague pic.twitter.com/gIE1Bn7ROe

Next up, Vertigo. Similar to the first map, VItality was the team in the driving seat. The mixed European team with JACKZ as a stand-in kept on playing well as they destroyed the Australian team on the T side to secure themselves an 11-4 lead on the weaker T side of Vertigo. Moving to the CT side, VItality was quick to close out the map 16-5 and the series 2-0.
