Team Vitality have reaffirmed their dominance in the Counter-Strike scene by defeating Falcons 3-2 in the BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 1 Grand Final. The victory marks their fifth consecutive title and extends their match win streak to 25, placing them just behind NiP’s legendary 60-match run. The lineup led by Dan “apEX” Madesclaire has remained untouchable since adding Robin “ropz” Kool earlier this year.
Falcons Push Back on Inferno and Mirage
Falcons opened the series with a statement win on Inferno. m0NESY delivered a standout performance as his team outplayed Vitality on a map the reigning champions had dominated in recent months. Falcons executed well on the T side and capitalized on uncharacteristic mistakes from ZywOo.
Later in the series, Mirage became the most intense map of the match. Despite a huge 3-9 deficit at halftime, Vitality mounted a comeback that pushed the game into overtime. Falcons, however, held their nerve. Another clutch from m0NESY sealed the 16-14 win and extended the series to a fifth and final map.
Vitality Assert Control on Dust2, Train, and Nuke
Vitality struck back quickly on Dust2. A key half-buy win shifted momentum early, and they closed out the map 13-6 behind tight rotations and disciplined defense. On Train, flameZ dominated both sides of the map with confident entries and high-impact CT aggression, helping Vitality reclaim the series lead.
The decider on Nuke was one-sided. Vitality’s T side overwhelmed the Falcons defense, with ZywOo and ropz combining for critical multikills. Vitality closed the map 13-8, finishing the series in dominant fashion and securing their fifth straight championship.

With this latest title, Vitality continue their historic run through the 2025 season. The team’s blend of experience, firepower, and tactical cohesion has proven nearly impossible to counter. With ropz fitting seamlessly into the roster and ZywOo consistently delivering world-class performances, Vitality shows no signs of slowing down, and looks destined to go all the way in the upcoming Major in Austin in June.
