Vitality has booked their spot in the Grand Final of IEM Melbourne 2025 after obliterating The MongolZ 2-0 on Saturday.
The semifinal clash turned into a complete show of force from Dan “apEX” Madesclaire and company, as the European powerhouse crushed the Asian squad with back-to-back 13-3 wins on Mirage and Nuke.
Once again, it was superstar AWPer Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut leading the charge, delivering a monstrous 1.96 rating and a dominant 38-11 K-D performance across the two maps.
The French icon was well supported by Robin “ropz” Kool and William “mezii” Merriman, both of whom turned in strong showings to help Vitality maintain their momentum. With this win, Vitality will now enter their fourth consecutive Grand Final, further solidifying their position as the best team in the world right now.
In tomorrow’s title-decider, Vitality will face off against Falcons, who secured their Grand Final berth earlier today by defeating MOUZ. The best-of-five Grand Final is set to kick off tomorrow at 08:30 (CET).
