Virtus.pro’s first matchup at IEM Fall unfolded as expected, with Jame and company securing their first victory after beating K23 on Overpass.

The action on Overpass kicked off in rather one-sided fashion, with Virtus.pro going up 6-0 on the attacking side. Everything seemed set for Virtus.pro to quickly run away, however, resilience from K23 saw them string together 9 rounds in a row to end first half 9-6 in their favor.

In the second half, Virtus.pro got off to a good start as they grabbed the first four rounds of the half, lowering their deficit to only one round. Unfortunately for K23, YEKINDAR and company managed to set up a perfect defense that they just couldn’t break through, which meant the favorites went on to close out the map 16-11.
