G2 suffered a painful loss on the first map of the elimination series against NAVI, which saw the Russian-Ukrainian squad come out on top with a close 16-14 scoreline.
The Bosnian star, Nikola “NiKo” Kovac delivered an incredible performance on the battleground and nearly carried his team all the way across the finish line with 35 kills and 134.7 ADR. Unfortunately for him and the rest of the team, his unbelievable performance and whopping 2.02 Rating wasn’t enough to steal away NAVI’s map pick or force OT.
However, people quickly jumped to Twitter where they praised the Bosnian for his level and showing against the best team in the World. Especially Jacob “Pimp” Winneche who thinks NiKo has made a case for him being the best player in the world.
