Falcons sweep GamerLegion 2–0 as their transformation takes shape.
Falcons are on a mission. With a confident 2–0 win over GamerLegion in the IEM Melbourne quarterfinals, they continue to prove they are no longer just a star project but a serious championship threat.
At the center of it all is René “TeSeS” Madsen, who has been rumored to be replaced on the team, but has since shown his worth with several top-tier performances lately for Falcons.
“It was difficult in the beginning, but when m0NESY came in, it took some pressure off me,” TeSeS said.
A Superteam Finding Balance
Falcons recently lifted the trophy at PGL Bucharest. Adding Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov only raised expectations, and the team is already showing signs of elite coordination, though there will always be an adjusting time, as the Dane underlined during the interview with the desk at IEM Melbourne.
We can not perform at the highest level right now, but it will come in the future. We have really high expectations. We believe that we can lift trophies and also win the Major.
The team has now won 9 of its last 10 matches. The only loss came against world number one Vitality.

Revenge Match on the Horizon
Falcons now prepare for a semifinal against MOUZ, a team that beat them earlier in the season. This time, they are locked in.
“We’ve got some revenge to take. It’s going to be a banger, I hope.”
Falcons and MOUZ face each other tomorrow in Melbourne.
