Spirit head coach Sergey “hally” Shavaev will not be present at the BLAST Bounty Season 1 Finals this week due to health reasons.
This means the 31-year-old Russian coach is set to miss the team’s first tournament of the year, with Spirit competing for the title in Copenhagen over the coming days.
The CIS organization confirmed that Danil “donk” Kryshkovets and his teammates will play the tournament without a coach standing behind them on the LAN stage.
In a statement, Spirit shared that hally is already recovering and is expected to rejoin the team for IEM Katowice early next month.
Spirit’s LAN season kicks off at 16:00 CET this Thursday when they face HEROIC in the opening round of the BLAST Bounty Season 1 Finals.
