Team Spirit managed to take down FURIA in the opening round of the Legends Stage. A huge shock for the Brazilians, who could be looking into a difficult path towards the next stage now.
Against Team Spirit it was expected, that FURIA would take care of the CIS team without any problems. At 11-5 in favor of FURIA, it looked like a walk in the park for Andrei “arT” Piovezan and his men to secure the victory. But Team Spirit fought back and equalized the score at 11-11.
FURIA looked a bit shell-shocked after the comeback, and it didn’t get better in the second half, where Team Spirit just continued to put maximum pressure on FURIA, who had no answer in return. A huge upset and now the Brazilians find themselves in a difficult situation with teams such as FaZe, Vitality, Outsiders, and Team Liquid in the 0-1 bracket already.
