Spinx talks new roles and why he joined MOUZ

The former Vitality rifler will play his first official in a MOUZ shirt this Friday.

Just one week into the new season, Lotan “Spinx” Giladi made a high-profile move to MOUZ, leaving Vitality’s bench behind.

Now settling into his new team, the Israeli star rifler has shared insights into his decision and how he plans to fit into the MOUZ system, led by Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin.

Why MOUZ?

In a recent video on MOUZ’s YouTube channel, Spinx pointed to the team’s youthful roster and consistent results as key reasons for his decision.

– First of all, I really like the way MOUZ works. This team is also incredibly young – I’m 24, and I’m the oldest on the team. It’s the first time in my life that I’m the oldest in a team, and I still feel young.

– This team is full of young talent, and they have a great staff around them to help them evolve. So it was a combination of being such a young team while still playing really well. Because they’re so young, the results will most likely continue improving. If I can help with that, then why not?

New role

When Spinx makes his debut this week at PGL Cluj-Napoca it seems it will be in a sligthy different role on the server.

Something he revealed in the video, however, without going too much into detail of the actual role change.

– I have some new roles, depending on the map. So, we’ll see how well I perform in those situations too. I believe things will go well – I really want them to go well – but we’ll see.

– When I moved from ENCE to Vitality, my role changed a bit. And now, moving from Vitality to MOUZ, my role has changed again. You’re always evolving, and I think it’s nice to switch things up sometimes. In the big picture, you’re still the same player, but in the small details, you adapt and refine your game, Spinx said.

“Unknown expectations”

Spinx remains optimistic about MOUZ’s potential but acknowledges that results in official matches are what really count.

– I really want to do well, but expectations are a bit unknown in a way. In practice, we’re doing well and we’re improving day by day. But at the same time, there’s a big difference between practice and official matches. We have Brollan as a new IGL, and I think he’s done a great job in practice. But in the end, what really matters is how we perform in official games. So, we’ll have to wait and see, Spinx concluded.

Spinx is set to make his debut for MOUZ this Friday at PGL Cluj-Napoca in Romania, where he and his team will take on BIG at 09:00 CET.
